Archive for the 'Latest News' CategoryEllough Park ‘Super 1′ ReactionThe Super 1 TKM Series held at Ellough Park Race Circuit over the weekend of August 15th/16th has been hailed a massive success by drivers and spectators alike. Despite the pressure on some of the drivers a great weekend was had by all, made even better by the introduction of the ‘Trackside Promotions’ grid girls. Here are some of the comments from the weekend:- “They definatly made the biggest effort out of all the circuits this year!” “The club has done a perfect job” “a very enjoyable round, well run, with an excellent team behind it” The whole team at Ellough Park Race Circuit would like to thank everyone from Super 1 for providing us with some great entertainment, both on and off the track, as well as your kind comments and support of the circuit. |

Archive for the 'Latest News' CategoryEasykart UK Series – September 19th-20thEllough Park Race Circuit will once again be hosting the Easykart UK championship on September 19th-20th. It is also the final round of the championship so should make for some entertaining action. The four championships are currently headed by Barnaby Pittingale, Terry Langley, Patrick Lay and James DeHavilande but it could all change at the last minute, particularly in the Junior class where Lay holds a slender 17 point advantage over Brad Fairhurst. The circuit will also be holding an open test day on Thursday 10th September which is open to all Easykart drivers. |

Archive for the 'Latest News' CategoryEllough Park All-Stars Date ConfirmedThe third running of the Ellough Park ‘All-Stars’ event has been confirmed for Friday 9th October 2009. The meeting will see all the current circuit champions competing alongside former champions and race winners. Current Open GP champion Andy Horne is the early favourite for victory but he will be pressed hard by the likes of Nick Wones, Patrick Miller, Simon Francis and Mel Paul. Two time ‘All-Stars’ champion Matt Bond will also be returning to defend his title fresh from his campaign in the Visk.com British Superbike Championship. The meeting will also see the return of former champions Joe Larkin and Steve English along with Tony Rumball, who has been competing in the Super 1 Series with the RL Race Team. Also representing the RL Race Team will be Team Mangager Steve Armstrong, who managed to place himself on the front row for last years event. Full details of the event will be released shortly with a full list of competitors for the meeting. |
